Warrandyte – Coach Dale Vitiritti
Warrandyte coach Dale Vitritti shared his thoughts ahead of Sunday’s Youth Girls (1)
Grand Final, expressing excitement for what he expects to be a competitive match:
“We have played 4 games against Kew this season and they have all been close, so
it should be a competitive and good game.” Reflecting on the season, Dale praised
his teams commitment and dedication: “The team has consistently worked hard to
improve and are always positive towards their teammates, and this is shown through
the strong teamwork they display each Sunday.” Dale highlighted that their
aggressive tackling has been a key asset to their game this season. Looking to the
opposition, Dale acknowledged the challenge ahead: “Kew have a strong midfield
led by their ruck, which always creates tough contests around the ground.”
Kew Comets – Coach Andrew Wilson
Kew Comets coach Andrew Wilson is looking forward to Sunday’s Youth Girls (1)
Grand Final, reflecting on both the emotional and competitive significance of the
occasion: “This year's Grand Final represents a mixture of pride and sadness for the
girls. Pride in comradery and effort the girls have put on to reach this stage of the
season, and also a tinge of sadness as for many of the girls, some of whom have
been together for years, the Grand Final represents the end of their junior footy
journey and their time together as friends and team mates at Kew Comets.” He also
summed up Kew Comets strengths heading into the final: “Our YG Comets footy is
contested footy – win it at clearance, tackle pressure and get it forward.”

Tough in the contest Khimaya's quick hands and strength over the ball continually
gives our midfield group first use.
