The Yarra Junior Football League is excited to announce the Futures Development Program, designed to help develop the skills and game sense of the next generation of young footballers.
Held across three mornings during the September school holidays, the program will provide a fun and focused environment for players to build their fundamental football skills and develop their understanding of the game.
Dates: Monday 21 – Wednesday 23 September
Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm daily
Location: Ford Park – Home of the YJFL
Ages: Under 10 & Under 11 Mixed Players
Cost: $198 per player
The program will focus on key fundamentals including kicking, marking, handballing and ground-ball work, alongside small-sided games and decision-making activities designed to develop game sense.
Held in the week of the AFL Grand Final, the program is a great way for young players to get a footy-filled start to the school holidays while continuing to develop the skills and knowledge that will set them up for seasons ahead.
