Hi YJFL Players,
Vello Technologies is excited to partner with YJFL to pilot a new state-of-the-art kicking analysis tool called VisXL — designed to help players better understand their kicking technique and improve their game.
Before we launch the app, we need your help! We’re looking for all footballers to submit kicking videos that will help us test and improve the technology.
Once complete, VisXL will be available to all YJFL participants at a discounted rate.
How to enter
Simply record a video of yourself kicking a football and submit it using the link below.
For the best chance of being selected:
Set your camera on a tripod or stable surface in landscape mode
Keep the camera still while recording
Place 1 metre markers on the ground (centre of marker 1 to centre of marker 2 = 1 metre)
Have your kicking leg side-on to the camera
The footage should include:
Starting position
Run-up
Kick
Landing
At least 2 metres of ball travel
The football can be any size or colour

The whole family can get involved! Mum, dad, brothers, sisters....each extra person who submits a video will receive their own entry.
