YJFL Congratulates Nick Daicos

The YJFL would like to formally congratulate Nick Daicos on winning the 2026 AFL Brownlow Medal last night. Nick played over 125 games in the YJFL from tackers with Greythorn through to time at Kew Rovers, including premierships in 2016 and 2017.

During his time in the YJFL Nick also won the Under 15 Division 1 League Best & Fairest, along with representing the League at interleague level in Under 13s and Under 14s.

As a proud partner of the Future Magpies we are thrilled for Nick on this tremendous achievement, and to see a former YJFL player win the Brownlow for the second year in succession after Matthew Rowell in 2025.
