The Yarra Junior Football League is honoured to have Collingwood FC players Lucy Cronin & Ned Long as League Ambassadors in the 2026 season.
 

Former YJFL player and emerging Collingwood midfielder Ned Long started his footballing journey within the YJFL ranks.

"I first played footy in Fitzroy with the YJFL, and that’s where I fell in love with the game. It’s awesome to see the Club supporting the league and giving kids like me a chance to grow and support young players."

Cronin played 82 games of football with the Kew Comets, before entering the pathway system with the Oakleigh Chargers. Cronin was taken with pick nine in the 2023 AFLW Draft.
