The Yarra Junior Football will be partnering with Life Blood to promote blood donations within our community in 2024.
The YJFL Blood Drive will run for the whole 2024 footy season. It is a way celebrate impact, contribution and team spirit that both YJFL clubs and our community can collectively achieve.
Unite together for a big, life-changing cause. Inspire and encourage players, supporters and sponsors to get involved and boost overall awareness. Clubs that already compete on the field with blood, sweat and tears will see who has the most blood to give off the field. Every drop counts.
Throughout the season, Clubs will receive regular tally updates and at the end of the season, we can celebrate the impact everyone has made and recognise those Clubs that have gone above and beyond.
YJFL Clubs have been sent Blood Drive tool kits to set up Lifeblood Teams tracking donations from their communities. Once your club’s Lifeblood Team has been made, people can join and have their donations count. Whether donating in a group, pair or solo – once you’re in the team, it all counts.
