CAMBERWELL v SURREY PARK

At 3pm this Sunday the two best teams in the age group will battle it out for the
premiership in the U16 Girls Division 1 competition at W.T Peterson Oval in Fitzroy.
There is absolutely no doubting that the Camberwell team will be entering this year’s
decider as an overwhelming favourite due to their dominant season boasting 13 wins
and 0 losses in the regular season as well as a 40-point victory in their Qualifying
Final to qualify for the big dance. Such victories have included 4 wins against their
opponents this Sunday being Surrey Park. Surrey Park with a strong 8 win and 4
loss regular season will enter the game with high levels of optimism as each time
they have come up against their undefeated counterparts they have pegged back the
final margin every time, with their first encounter being 65 points followed by 56
points, 48 points and 40 points respectively. Such improvement suggests that the
game should result in a tight finish this weekend with the Panthers looking to take it
right up to the Sharks who are striving for the ultimate in an undefeated season.
