UNDER 16 BOYS – DIVISION 1 GRAND FINAL

The teams who finished the Home and Away season in first and second place on the ladder
will meet again in this Sunday’s Under 16 Boys Grand Final at Ford Park. After an
undefeated home and away season, the Hawthorn Citizens team experienced their first loss
for the year against Balwyn in the Qualifying Final. Hawthorn Citizens were missing a
handful of players on that day, and will be bolstered by a group of handy inclusions for the
repeat match up this week. Balwyn have had the advantage of a week’s break and with
talent across all lines on the ground this promises to be a high quality match. Jack Condello
(Balwyn) kicked three goals in the Qualifying Final, while Thomas Tritton (Hawthorn Citizens)
was named best afield for Hawthorn Citz on that day.
