Despite a foggy start to the day, the Under 13 Interleague carnival against South Metro Junior Football League proved to be another outstanding success with all matches played in great spirit as both League’s introduced their charges to the stepped up pace of representative football.
Honours were shared on the day with SMJFL winning the Shields in the Girls Matches, whilst the YJFL boys proved too strong taking home both of the Boys Shields.
All players and coaching staff should be very proud of their efforts in entertaining the large crowd with some high quality football.
