Toyota Good for Footy Raffle and National Volunteer Awards return for 2023

The Yarra Junior Football League is excited to announce the return of the Toyota Good for Footy Raffle and Toyota National Volunteer Awards for 2023.

Last year Toyota helped 629 local clubs raise more than $1 million and this year the aim is to go even bigger, with clubs encouraged to use the program to have a strong start to the season through fundraising.

The Toyota Good for Footy Raffle offers a range of fantastic prizes, including cars, holiday packages, and merchandise, with all proceeds going directly to local football clubs. This is an incredible opportunity for clubs to raise funds and invest in their facilities, equipment, and player development programs.

A number of AFL stars were selected to visit local clubs and help them kick-start their 2023 seasons including former Kew Comets junior, Jack Sinclair (St Kilda FC). As part of the program, Toyota is donating $2,000 to each of these clubs and they will also receive 10 tickets to an AFL match during Good for Footy Round.

The YJFL encourages all clubs to get involved and participate in the raffle, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on our local football community.

Toyota National Volunteer Awards

Volunteers are the lifeblood of grassroots football, and their dedication and hard work ensure that our sport can continue to thrive. From coaches and umpires to committee members and canteen workers, volunteers play an essential role in creating a positive and inclusive football community.

The Toyota National Volunteer Awards aim to acknowledge and celebrate the tireless efforts of these individuals, who give up their time and energy to support their local football club.

The YJFL encourages all clubs to nominate their outstanding volunteers for the Toyota National Volunteer Awards and to take the time to thank them for their hard work and dedication.
