We are proud to announce we now have 12 clubs apart of the Women & Girls Charter. A big congratulations to Ashburton, Glen Iris, North Brunswick, Parade St Damian’s, St Mary’s & Warrandyte who have all recently completed their Women & Girls Charter.

These clubs join Brunswick, Fitzroy, Heidelberg, Kew Rovers, Macleod, Surrey Park and the YJFL Umpires bringing the YJFL total to 12 chartered clubs.

The Women & Girls Community Football Charter is a commitment from Community Football Leagues, Clubs & Umpire Groups to work towards making Community Football environments welcoming, safe and inclusive for Women & Girls.

This charter sets out the expectation that Clubs will champion Women and Girls guided by four principles:

  • Opportunity

  • Visibility

  • Access

  • Investment

We congratulate and thank all 12 clubs for leading the way. Together we are shaping a safer and more inclusive football environment for Women & Girls.
