The ongoing growth and requirements of the Yarra Junior Football League allow for the inclusion of an additional staff member to the League. With further developments in the social and promotional landscape of community football, the marketing opportunities are vast and need to be fully devoted to.
The YJFL is pleased to announce that Aidan Paus has been appointed to the position of Marketing Coordinator.
Aidan is an ideal fit for the position with previous full-time experience in marketing with Allscripts, a leading healthcare technology company. He also brings knowledge from time with the Melbourne Rebels, in the marketing and events area, as well as Nike and Bounce Foods.
The appointment of a Marketing Coordinator will allow for progression in our social media, promotional campaigns, media coverage and coordination with club representatives with their marketing activities.
Aidan was a player for many years with Kew Comets and Rovers as well as Assistant Coach of a Comets girls premiership team. He has recently played with Old Trinity in the VAFA.
As well as the addition to the YJFL staff, three new board members have been introduced at 2019’s end of year Annual General Meeting. We would like to welcome; Paul Lane (Conduct), Andrew Davenport (Community Engagement) & Maree de Bondt (Player & Participant Welfare).
The future of the YJFL is stronger with these three additions on the Board. Led by President Jeff Hooper, 2020 is looking to be a great season of football at the Yarra Junior Football League.
