Yarra Junior Football League can confirm the merger between Balwyn Greythorn JFC and Boroondara Hawks FC to create Balwyn Junior Football Club. Balwyn JFC will field teams in U8 to Youth competitions in the 2024 season and beyond.
David Fileccia, current President of Balwyn Greythorn and incoming President of Balwyn JFC provided a statement on the merger.

The Balwyn Junior Football Club align with Balwyn Tigers FC, creating a pathway for YJFL players to the senior competitions in the Eastern Football Netball League. Vin O'Halloran, President of the Balwyn Tigers FC commented on the alignment with the premier division club.
