AFL Vic Metro Junior Development Series Day One Review

The 2023 AFL Vic Metro Junior Development Series kicked off last Wednesday 31 May featuring the best under 14 and 15 boys and girls talent from community football leagues across metropolitan Melbourne.

All eight Yarra Magpies teams played on Wednesday evening with the Under 15 Boys and Girls playing home games against Northern Football and Netball League at Ford Park and Binnak Park, respectively.


The U14 Boys played away against Northern at Eltham Central Park, whilst the U14 Girls began their campaign with away games against the Eastern Football and Netball League and the South Metro Junior Football League.


The series continues this King’s Birthday long weekend with games to be played on Saturday, June 10 and Monday, June 12. Parents and supporters are encourage to come along to the games across the long weekend on tune in to our home games which will be livestreamed via our website and Facebook.
