The CoachAFL portal is now active for 2024. Please use this link and follow the details below to make sure you are accredited/re-accredited through CoachAFL for the 2024 season.
New Coaches
Create a LearnAFL account by clicking on the link above and navigate to the CoachAFL section.
Complete the Coaching Profile including selecting and aligning with the club/team in the correct league (Yarra JFL), age group, and coaching position.
Complete the 2024 Welcome Package (including the Coaches Code Of Conduct)
Complete the online Foundation Course relevant to the playing age group of your team (Junior or Youth)
Returning Coaches
Login to existing account.
Update your Coaching Profile
Complete the 2024 Welcome Package (including the Coaches Code Of Conduct)
Complete the online renewal module
Please ensure that you’re aligned with the club/team in the correct league (Yarra JFL), age group, and coaching position (please save the changes)
*Please note that coaches/assistant coaches MUST complete all steps in the online registration & accreditation workflow. Coaches will only show as registered for 2024 in PlayHQ when their coaching role etc has been selected and the appropriate course has been completed.
2024 Compulsory Coach Sessions
‘YJFL Compulsory New Coach Induction Sessions’ – these compulsory sessions are for all ‘first time’ coaches & assistant coaches in the YJFL.
Youth (U/13 – Youth Girls & Boys) – New Head Coach Induction Session (1st year Head Coaches & Assistant Coaches in the Youth age groups)
Monday March 25 from 6.30pm (sharp) – 9.15pm
Venue – Yarra JFL HQ, Cnr Davidson St & Perkins Ave, Bellfield
Junior (U/8 – U/12) – New Head Coach Induction Session (1st year Head Coaches & Assistant Coaches in the Junior age groups)
Monday April 15 from 6.30pm (sharp) – 9.15pm
Venue – Yarra JFL HQ, Cnr Davidson St & Perkins Ave, Bellfield
Please Note: As per By-Law 5.2.5 the New Coach Inductions & Returning Coaches sessions are compulsory in 2024
