The Yarra Junior Football League (YJFL) is excited to announce the Under 14s and Under 15s squads selected for the 2023 Yarra Magpies Academy (YMA) program.
Full squads have been selected for the Under 14 Boys, Under 14 Girls, Under 15 Boys, and the Under 15 Girls.
The Yarra Magpies Academy program is designed to identify and develop talented young footballers from the YJFL. The program aims to provide players with opportunities to improve their skills, develop their game sense, and prepare them for the rigours of elite level football.
The selection process for the 2023 squads included training throughout the offseason, where players were assessed on their performance, attitude, and commitment. The selectors were impressed with the quality of talent on display and had some tough decisions to make when it came to selecting the final squads.
The boys and girls who have been selected for the 2023 squads have shown exceptional promise and have demonstrated the qualities that are essential for success in football. They have worked hard to earn their spots and are now ready to represent the Yarra Magpies with pride and passion.
