In celebration of Community Umpire Week, four YJFL umpires were invited to walk out on to the ground with the field umpires for the AFL match between St Kilda and Melbourne at Etihad on Sunday the 6th of May. Jordan Allen, Hugh Florance, Mitchell Brown and Charlotte Allen represented YJFL umpires for this special occasion. The umpires were lucky to enough to meet the AFL umpires for the game (Nick Foot, Leigh Fisher & Shaun McInerney) and be involved in the toss of the coin.
