Neville Nash Hall of Fame Induction (AFLUA)

The YJFL would like to congratulate the YJFL Head of Development – Umpiring, Neville Nash, on this week being inducted into the Australian Football League Umpire’s Association (AFLUA) Hall Of Fame.

Neville was inducted due to his commitment to umpiring, on and off the field, for many years.

Neville umpired over 200 VFL/AFL matches including the 1983 Grand Final between Hawthorn & Essendon.

Off the field, Neville’s contribution to community umpiring is unmeasured. Neville was the AFL Victoria Umpiring Development Manager for nearly 20 years being a trailblazer in female and multicultural umpire recruitment and development. Neville was also the first full time Umpires Manager appointed in Queensland.

Congratulations on this amazing achievement Neville.
