2020 Yarra Magpies Academy Assistant Coaching Positions
The Yarra Magpies are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for Coaching Positions in its Academy.
In 2019, the YJFL formed an exciting partnership with Collingwood Football Club in the delivery of its Next Generation Academy and Representative programs.
As such the Yarra Magpies (Combined Yarra JFL/Collingwood NGA) Program is looking for dedicated foundation level accredited coaches to join the coaching panel as assistant coaches in 2020.
Together, we look to develop talented Under 13, 14 and 15 Boys and Girls to improve their fundamental skill base and compete against other Metropolitan leagues in June 2020.
In season training nights will be:
Monday: Under 13 Boys, Under 13 Girls, Under 14 Girls and Under 15 Girls
Wednesday: Under 14 Boys and Under 15 Boys
Applications may be accepted from coaches currently engaged at Club level, in other representative teams, in NAB League, other NGAs, leagues or school programs if their credentials are well developed. The roles may suit current senior footballers who are looking to develop their coaching skills.
We are seeking exceptionally committed, self-controlled, player-centric coaches, proficient in fundamental skill development, team development and individual player feedback. An ability to incorporate game sense drills and activities is vital.
