YJFL seeking Football Operations Manager

The Yarra Junior Football League (YJFL) invites applications for the role of Football Operations Manager.

The Football Operations Manager is a key member of the YJFL team and works closely with the CEO and Commercial & Operations Manager, leading the Football Operations of the League. This position would suit someone with experience in a sporting organisation or operation management.

The role includes managing YJFL competitions including team entry, fixturing & grading, supporting volunteer Club office-bearers as they perform their duties, applying YJFL rules & policies to Club requests relating to teams & players, and working with recreation staff at Councils. You will be supported by and be a crucial member of a supportive and dedicated team.

Your commitment to supporting Leagues and Clubs sustainability and off field success will be evidenced by your previous experiences in community sport. Your key strengths will be your ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders and your demonstrated understanding of the positive impact sporting clubs have at the community level. You will be able to easily align yourself with YJFL values and vision.

This is a full-time position within the Football Operations department and will report to the Commercial and Operations Manager.
