The Yarra Junior Football League has a proud history of leading the way in Female Football.
Commencing our first competition in 2011, the league now boasts over 50 female teams in Under 10s, Under 12s, Under 15s and Youth Girls.
In 2017 the Leaque anticipates up to 25 clubs actively involved in Female Football catering to over 1000 enthusiastic participants of this great game.

The girls are up and running for the 2017 Representative Football program.
Any girls born in 2002, 2003 and 2004 are welcome to come down and train with the squad.
Training is on Monday Nights 7.30pm - 9.00pm commencing March 6.
Past YJFL Girls make History
On Wednesday the 12th October 2016, history was made as the Inaugural AFL Women's National Draft took place.
We are very proud to say that 8 girls who were drafted to AFL Clubs have played their junior football with the YJFL, and have represented the league in the Metro Junior Championships.
